Thank you for your consideration. We know that working with an organization such as ours for the first time often prompts a few questions. Sometimes more than a few concerns, too. How

successful will we be in interpreting your needs? How can we do it most effectively? How can we do it most efficiently? How much will it cost?

 

Our Charges

 

Like all service organizations our invoices are based on the time we invest in a project. Currently we bill our time at $50.00 per hour, about 10% under what other firms of our quality and experience charge. Project costs can range from a low of hundreds to a high of thousands of dollars, depending on our clients’ needs and

budgets. We always provide a detailed proposal and estimate for approval before starting. We adhere to our estimates unless project specifications change. We use the “rule of thirds” billing formula. One third is due upon the decision to accept us as your designer, one third is due upon presentation of the rough concept, and the balance is due upon completion of the project.

 

Laying the Foundation

 

The first thing we do after being assigned a project is schedule information-gathering meetings between our creative team and your key staff. We are interested not only in scheduling, budget and job specifications, but also in your preferences, target audience, and objectives. And of course, we will want to know all the user features and benefits of the product.

Although this process is somewhat time-consuming (we don’t like meetings any more than you do), it is also crucially important. It will help you sharpen your focus and objectives, and it will help us ensure that what we produce is not only creatively excellent, but strategically targeted.

Your project is now complete! This is where our marketing team will endeavor to expose your work in the most appropriate outlets. We aggressively advocate on your behalf. We will create a marketing campaign designed to get you noticed.

 

With the proliferation of smart phones and tablets having your work available on these devices is imperative. Our marketing team will take your publication to e-book format to be marketed through apple’s iBook application.

 

Your music is your passion! Once we have the cover and liner notes artwork created we can use our resources to get your work distributed.

Conceptual time

This is the time necessary to determine your needs. We conduct an interview and begin background research followed by strategy and evaluation to develop a concept followed by completing an initial design. Once the concept is approved the design goes to full layout and draft. If need be there may be a first and or second revision as determined by clients input.


Execution

Once the draft is approved the design is put into production. This may include proofing, formatting and layout. At this time the design is again presented to the client for final approval or review for 3rd revisions and author alterations. Once final approval is given the design is deployed to webmaster / e-publisher or printer for completion.
